Composite

Oseco’s CO Composite is a forward acting rupture disc that delivers an excellent pressure performance range. With sizes ranging from 11/16″ to 42 the composite rupture disc is well suited to applications with uncommon size requirements. 

It consists of a metal slotted top section, a slit-slot cover and a fluoropolymer or metal seal. The metal top section controls the burst pressure and the seal isolates the top section from the process media and prevents leakage. 

The patented ‘tear drop’ feature reduces the possibility of fragmentation. For optimal operating conditions, the CO disc should not be exposed to pressure in excess of 80% of its stamped burst pressure.
