Pressure Relief
The Elfab Pure Gard is a sanitary pressure relief system that is optimally designed to address challenging applications within the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical & food industry, where cleanability is of paramount importance.
Unlike traditional sanitary rupture discs that requires an integral gasket to provide a seal, the Pure Gard’s one-piece design with the rupture disc electron-welded between two ferrules enables you to avoid the risk of damage at the point of installation.
As the Pure Gard is independent of a gasket, this allows for gaskets to be changed yearly, or as needed, without having to replace the disc. For added comfort, Pure Gard comes with a three-year warranty, enabling up to a 67% reduction in discs purchased over the three-year period.
Put the Pure Gard to the test
With the Pure Gard, you also benefit from simpler maintenance as it has been designed to be used with the Elfab Ven-Tel burst detection system. This reusable, non-invasive solution is mounted directly to the Tri-Clamp or sanitary fitting, facilitating a quick and simple disc inspection with no need for downtime to carry out the required checks.
