Downhole Tools

For when you need to reliably activate downhole tools, Oseco-Elfab manufacture both small and large all-thread tool activation discs for downhole pressure activation applications.  

The ¼” NPT burst plug is a prime choice when space is limited. It can an be set for pressures up to 30,000 psig with a tolerance of +/-5%. 

The ½” NPT burst plug is ideal for activation of tools or for use as a drain plug. It too can be set for pressures up to 30,000 psig with a tolerance of +/- 5%.

We can also supply custom custom rupture discs for downhole tool activation, capable of withstanding withstand back pressures up to three times the discs rated burst pressure.

These discs are activated internally from the tubing or from the annulus within the casing are can be used in place of shear pins to activate drilling tools.
