Electronic Interlocking
for your Actuators
In some process control scenarios, you may need to manage the local controls of your actuators from a remote location. To achieve this, you can utilise the Actuator Switch Lock Panel (ASLP) from Sofis to incorporate your motor operated valves into your interlocking sequence.
The ASLP is an electronic interlocking device that can lock and regulate the components of your actuators, mechanically blocking the power supply, the manual override function and the position indicator.
Only when both keys have been inserted and trapped in the ASLP can the actuator be controlled via the devices integrated push buttons. When the valve has reached its fully open or fully closed position, the respective key is released in order to proceed with the interlocking sequence.
