venium Engineering successfully designed, supplied and installed chemical tanker offloading interlocking systems to prevent accidental discharge of chemicals to the rain water drain during chemical offloading operations at waste water treatment plant.
This application ensures that the chemical bund diverter valve is diverted to the offloading bund spill tank prior to offloading being able to take place. If the operator accidentally left the diverter valve in the position where it is routing to the rain water drain then hazardous chemicals could be released to the rain water course. This could be catastrophic for the environment, and costly to the operator.
